IndoGreen is the biggest exhibition in Indonesia. The expo have been established since 2009 and it has become an annual event the Ministry of Forestry. The exhibition presents the large of potency of forestry, machinery, timber, environmental-friendly product, and it showcases the uniqueness of forest in the various regions. This exhibition also offers the opportunity in promote forestry investment, facilitate transaction of investment and business, increase investment especially to develop industrial forest. The 6th IndoGreen Forestry Expo will be held on April, 11 to 14, 2014 in Assembly Hall, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
IndoGreen Forestry Expo 2014 has socialize the program and real accomplishment of Government and
private companies in establishing the continuously forest development, forest utilization and conservation, forest reclamation and quarry, and it supports the realization of
Government’s Program "Low Carbon Economic Forestry Development".
During the exhibition, many interesting activities to be followed. There are hot quizzes, photography contest, and painting; Family Forestry Day: Indonesia Green Fun Bike, forestry tour, mass tree planting and workshop; National Dialog: “Low Carbon Economic Forestry Development”; business gathering of forest entrepreneur; presentation on business potency of forest and mining; talk show on the role of business sector in the preservation of Indonesian forest.
Stakeholders who are involved in IndoGreen are all elements of society. The participants are Forestry of Ministry of Indonesia, District Forest Service, Provincial Forestry Office, State Forestry and Plantations, forestry and plantation investment companies, mining industries, timber industries, oil and gas companies, pulp and paper companies, wood and rattan entrepreneur, furniture and house appliances companies, private plantation companies, ecotourism and agrotourism management, forestry tool/machinery and equipment companies.

About The 5th Indogreen Forestry Expo 2013, the event had been visited by more than 10000 visitors and it was followed by 150 exhibitors. In 2014, the target is visited more than 20000 visitors who come from delegate of collaborative countries, government official of related ministry, domestic and foreign investors, professional and executive, entrepreneurs from multi-sector, academics official, environmental activists, and general public.
The expectations of exhibition is to create patterns of partnerships in order to support sustainable forest management and Indonesian forest function as lungs of the world. See you in the 7th international exhibition 2015.

The IndoGreen Forestry Expo is quite important and large event for Indonesia. It covers a quite a large array of industries from timber, nature tourism to oil and gas. Nice article covering the various editions of the event.
